Road closed after motorcyclist injured in crash

A road has been closed after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash in Nottinghamshire.
Emergency services attended the crash, involving the motorcyclist and a car, in Wood Lane, Hucknall, just after 08:00 GMT on Tuesday.
Nottinghamshire Police said Wood Lane was closed from the Hucknall bypass roundabout to Windermere Road.
The motorcyclist, a woman, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Drivers have been advised by police to avoid the area if possible.
