Geordie Shore star gets patrol dogs after break-in

TV reality star Charlotte Crosby said she had tightened security at her home with patrol dogs after "scumbags" broke in.
The pregnant former Geordie Shore star thanked a security company for its "hard work" installing 24-hour monitored CCTV.
Crosby, of Houghton-le-Spring, Sunderland, said she was with her fiance, Jake Ankers, and her two-year-old daughter when masked burglars broke in on Thursday.
Durham Police said it was investigating and the suspects had left the scene before officers arrived.
A force spokesperson added no-one had been injured and no items were believed to have been taken.
In an Instagram post, the 34-year-old reality star wrote: "Trebling our security measures, worth every penny to feel safe again in my own home.
"Scumbags are gunna get a big shock the next time they even step foot on any perimeter of my land."
After the break-in, Crosby said she was admitted to hospital after experiencing "serious pains" in her stomach, but confirmed her baby was "fine".
Crosby, who won the 12th series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2013, got engaged to Ankers in October 2023 after she gave birth to their first child in 2022.
She was one of the original cast members of Geordie Shore and recently starred in BBC Three show Charlotte in Sunderland, along with Ankers.
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
