A swimmer has been rescued from the Jersey coastline after a passer-by heard her calling for help.
Jersey Ports said police and the coastguard were called to the incident near Belcroute at about 07:00 BST on Friday.
Jersey Fire and Rescue Service said the woman came into difficulties during her morning swim, but was able to "cling to rocks" before she was rescued.
She was showing signs of hypothermia and was taken to Belcroute Bay for treatment by paramedics in an ambulance.
Station commander, Craig Channing, said: "Had it been earlier in the day or if no-one had been nearby, the outcome could have been far more serious."
