Man 'critical' after quad bike crashes into wall

A man is being treated in hospital for serious injuries after the quad bike he was riding crashed into a brick wall in Wakefield.

Emergency services were called to Willow Park in Pontefract at about 13:20 BST on Friday to reports of a serious road traffic collision.

The man, who was in his 50s, remained in hospital in a critical condition, according to West Yorkshire Police.

Anyone with information about what happened, or who had dashcam footage of the incident, was asked to contact police.
