The third Louth Food and Drink Festival takes place this weekend, featuring more than 50 stalls.

The event offers a wide range of street food, artisan produce and locally made delicacies, East Lindsey District Council said.

The festival, which will take place on Sunday between 10:00 and 16:00 BST, will also feature entertainment and activities including street theatre performance "Never a Gull Moment".

Councillor Adam Grist, portfolio holder for market towns and the rural economy, said: "This event is a fantastic opportunity to highlight the quality and diversity of food, drink and creative talent in Louth."

The event will include entertainment as well as food and drink

"The festival not only encourages footfall into the town centre but also strengthens community connections and showcases the contribution of independent traders to the local economy," Grist added.

From handcrafted chocolates and sourdough bread to gourmet hot dogs and award-winning cheeses, the authority said there would be something for everyone.

The programme of entertainment and activities includes a mobile cafe experience featuring vaudeville-style circus performances, and a theatrical piece exploring seagull turf wars.

Live music will be provided by multi-instrumentalist Wheelhouse.

Shops throughout the town will be open as usual giving visitors the chance to explore the town's retail offering.
