A new city-wide map of filming locations from the tv series The Outlaws, has been launched.
Bristol Film Office partnered with Visit Bristol and Bristol UNESCO City of Film to create ‘The Outlaws in Bristol’ Movie Map, external.
Bristol City Council said as film tourism grows in popularity, it hopes it will give fans a "fun insight" into the "real-life locations they have seen on screen".
Actor Stephen Merchant, who stars in the series, said the team wanted to make sure "the whole of Bristol felt a part of this story".
"It didn’t belong to the Outlaws, it belongs to Bristol," he said.
“We really wanted to make sure we showcased Bristol in every light.
"When people approach me when I’m out and about, they talk about how much they love the show, and they always mention the roads that they recognise, the buildings they recognise, the art on the walls that they love."
'Prominent filming locations'
Bristol City Council head of film Laura Aviles said The Outlaws had been an "incredible show" for the city and expects the movie map to be a popular edition to its collection of maps for different films and shows connected to Bristol.
"This addition to the collection presents a selection of the most prominent filming locations featured across The Outlaws’ 17 episodes," she said.
"With film tourism and ‘set-jetting’ becoming increasingly popular, we hope this map will give residents and city visitors who are fans of the show a fun insight into the real-life locations they have seen on screen.”
