Man appears in court charged with murder
A murder investigation was launched following John Coxon's death

A 66-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murder.
Anthony Gardiner, previously of Daniels Road, Stroud, is charged with murdering John Coxon.
Gloucestershire Police said at the time at officers were called out after Mr Coxon sustained a head injury at a property on Park Road, Stonehouse, on 12 January 2022.
The 76-year-old was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment, where he remained until his death on 25 March 2022.
Mr Gardiner was remanded into custody after appearing at Bristol Crown Court on Thursday, police said.
