Man charged after woman found seriously injured

A man has been charged with grievous bodily harm after a woman was left in a critical condition when she was struck by a car.

The 48-year-old woman was found seriously injured on Hillcrest Drive in Bradford on Friday, according to West Yorkshire Police.

Kiel Sanderson, 39, of Calderstone Avenue, Bradford, had also been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving and perverting the course of justice, a force spokesperson said.

Mr Sanderson had been remanded into custody and was due to appear before Bradford Magistrates' Court on Monday, they added.
