Manslaughter suspect released on bail

Police were called to Cornfield Road in Thornaby

A woman arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after a second woman was found dead has been released on bail, police say.

Officers were called to a house on Cornfield Road in Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees, at about 16:45 BST on Friday following the death of a 53-year-old woman.

Cleveland Police said a 25-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter has been bailed pending further inquiries.
