A new operator has been appointed to run the popular Trentham Estate tourist attraction.
Leisure destination management firm Multi-Realm has been confirmed as the manager of the 725-acre estate in Stoke-on-Trent.
The company said it would work with owner Blackstone to “further strengthen the destination” and “enhance what is a much-loved attraction for visitors”.
Managing director at Multi-Realm Dan Mason said he was "delighted" to have the opportunity to work on "such a prestigious asset".
"We very much look forward to working with the superb Trentham Estate team to build on what is already a very successful business," he added.
The estate is one of the most visited attractions in the West Midlands, with an annual footfall of more than 3.2 million.
It includes the Italian gardens, Trentham Shopping Village, Monkey Forest, and the 64,749 sq ft (6,017 sq m) Blue Diamond garden centre.
Alastair Budd, senior director at the Trentham Estate, said the team was looking forward to working with the new operator.
“The Trentham Estate is a real gem and something Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent can be really proud of,” he said.
“We know that people come from many miles around to experience what we have to offer, and we have lots of exciting plans that we can’t wait to deliver and share with our visitors.”
