Rail services disrupted after person killed by train

A person has been hit and killed by a train, causing disruption to rail services.
British Transport Police (BTP) said it was called to Witham station in Essex at 06:49 BST and that a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Greater Anglia, external services between Chelmsford and Colchester were delayed or cancelled until 11:00 BST.
Services running from London Liverpool Street and Braintree, Colchester Town, Clacton-on-Sea, Walton-on-the-Naze, Harwich Town, Ipswich and Norwich were affected.
BTP said paramedics also attended and that the death was not being treated as suspicious.
