Two men arrested after early hours stabbing

Two suspects have been arrested after a man in his 30s was stabbed in the early hours in Coventry.

The victim was hurt on Albany Road in Earlsdon, near the junction of Broomfield Road, about 01:30 BST on 27 July, West Midlands Police said.

Police confirmed the man's injuries were not life-threatening, but appealed to the public for information and witnesses.

Two men, aged 36 and 37, were arrested on suspicion of wounding and have been bailed with conditions while inquiries continue, the force confirmed.

Officers added they were particularly keen to hear from those with dashcam footage taken in the area at the time and anyone else with information who had not already been in touch.
