Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was found seriously injured in a Surrey road.

Officers were called to London Road in Camberley just after 04:30 GMT.

He was found with a serious head injury and remains in hospital.

London Road remains closed at the junction with Kings Ride and Knoll Road as enquiries continue.

Surrey Police say they want to speak to anyone who saw a white man in his 40s with brown hair, wearing dark clothes, who was walking in the area between 04:00 and 04:30 on Tuesday morning.

They also want to see dashcam, or helmet camera footage from the area near the time.
