A family have paid tribute to a "kind-hearted" boy who died after his e-scooter was involved in a collision with a car.
Bedfordshire Police said Arthur Mason, 15, was taken to hospital after the incident in Marston Moretaine, at Bedford Road roundabout, on 9 August.
He remained in a critical condition until he died on 16 August.
"Arthur was a much-loved son, brother, grandson and nephew; whose warmth, laughter and kind heart touched everyone who knew him," his parents said in a statement.
They continued: "Though his time with us was far too short, he filled our lives with love, joy and unforgotten memories.
"He will be forever missed, but he will always be carried in our hearts.
"Arthur will be missed beyond words and cherished always."
Det Sgt Craig Wheeler added: "Our thoughts remain with Arthur's loved ones.
"We extend our deepest sympathies and support as they navigate through this difficult time."
He appealed to anyone with information, including CCTV or dashcam footage, to get in touch.
