Two women have been arrested as part of an investigation into a fatal stabbing in Oxford earlier this year.

Tobias Bruce, 32, was found with multiple stab wounds in College Lane, Littlemore, on 25 February, and died in hospital three days later.

The 24 and 47-year-old women, both from Stratford-Upon-Avon, were arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Both have been released on bail.

Two men have already been charged with murder in connection with the incident.

Ryan Byrne, 34, of Hathaway Green Lane, Stratford-upon-Avon, was charged with murder and two counts of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.

George Stephens, aged 27, of no fixed address, is charged with murdering Mr Bruce and wounding another man.

The men's trial is due to begin on 30 September at Oxford Crown Court, and is expected to last 4 weeks.
