Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a man in North Lanarkshire.

Kevin Samuel Bowman, 30, died following a disturbance on Hamilton Drive in Airdrie at about 00:15 on 18 September.

His death is being treated as murder. Police said two men, aged 24 and 26, had been arrested and inquiries are ongoing.

A 27-year-old man was also taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

The force has opened a major incident portal where members of the public can submit information to assist the investigation.
