Guernsey Police is bringing back regular public meetings in a bid to provide a "useful platform" for people to share thoughts on the local force.
The first will include an update on the police's priorities for the next few years as well as a recent community survey.
There will also be a chance for the public to raise concerns and suggestions.
Chief Officer Damian Kitchen said he was "determined to build upon our relationships across the local community".
The first meeting is scheduled to take place on Friday at 18:30 BST at Les Cotils.
Mr Kitchen encouraged anyone who with concerns or feedback to attend.
"Effective policing and maintaining Guernsey as a safe place to live is a collaborative effort that extends beyond the capabilities and knowledge of law enforcement alone," he said.
