A school worker has denied having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student.

Leila Jackson, of Gretton, Cheltenham, is accused of five charges of sexual activity with a boy aged 13 to 17 while in a position of trust.

Ms Jackson, 43, appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Thursday and spoke only to confirm her name, date of birth, address and enter her not guilty pleas.

She was released on unconditional bail and the case was sent to Gloucester Crown Court for trial, with a first hearing listed for 7 November.
