The M48 Severn Bridge has reopened following an earlier closure for strong winds.
According to traffic management website Inrix, the bridge was closed between junction two of the M48 at Chepstow, in Wales, and junction one at Aust, in South Gloucestershire. It reopened on Wednesday afternoon.
There were severe delays while the closure was in place, with congestion near the Prince of Wales Bridge on the M4 as people diverted.
A yellow weather warning for rain was in place over Monmouthshire until 12:00 BST on Wednesday.
