Teenager seriously injured in e-bike crash

A teenage boy has been left with "very serious head injuries" after a collision involving an electric bike and a car.

The crash happened just after 13:00 GMT on Sunday at the junction of Lombard Street and Sherbrooke Avenue in Leeds and the 16-year-old e-bike rider remained in hospital on Monday, West Yorkshire Police said.

The male driver of an Audi Q7 was arrested on suspicion of drug driving but has since been released under investigation.

Police have asked anyone who saw the collision to contact them.
