Man released on bail after fatal hit-and-run

A man in his 50s has died following a report of a one vehicle hit-and-run road traffic collision in County Antrim.
The incident occurred at the Ballyeaston Road area of Ballyclare on Friday night.
A woman in her 40s was also hit by the vehicle and was taken to hospital for her injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
One man has been arrested and has since been released on bail to allow for further enquiries.
A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said: "Shortly before 22:35 BST it was reported that two pedestrians, one male and one female were struck by a car which failed to stop at the scene."
Police enquiries are ongoing and they are appealing to anyone who was on the Ballyeaston Road between 21:30 and 22:35 and witnessed the collision, or drivers who may have captured it on their dash cam.
