Drones are searching for one of two dogs that attacked a man in the street.

The victim, who was attacked by both animals in Lennox Road in Longton just before 09:00 GMT, was taken to hospital with injuries to his arms and hands which are not thought to be serious, Staffordshire Police said.

Armed officers seized one dog but a search is under way for the second, which is believed to be a black bulldog-type breed that ran away from the scene.

Anyone who sees the animal is advised not to approach it and to report sightings to the force.
