A road that was closed following a landslide caused by Storm Darragh has now re-opened, according to Traffic Wales North and Mid.

The A487 had been shut between Corris and Minffordd, Gwynedd, because of worries about unstable ground above the road, which meant a six-mile trip was 25 miles.

There were concerns the repair work could stretch into 2025 with the Welsh government saying at the time that "it could be closed for months".

But temporary measures have now been put in place, including a debris-catching system, which has made the road safe for motorists to use again.
