The A30 in Cornwall was completely closed after a car burst into flames.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Truro and Perranporth to the westbound carriageway at the Chybucca junction at 10:00 BST.

The service said police were on the scene and closed both carriageways between Shortlanesend and the Chiverton interchange due to the amount of smoke in the area.

At 10:54, traffic website Inrix reported that all lanes had reopened.
