Police investigating a suspected armed robbery at a convenience store have arrested two men.
Essex Police were called to the Best One shop in Canvey at about 18:50 GMT on Tuesday.
Officers were told two men had entered the store and demanded cash, with one threatening staff with what appeared to be an airsoft gun.
Two men, aged 18 and 31, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery on Wednesday and remain in police custody pending inquiries.
