A 35-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murder after a woman's body was found in a house.
Isobella Knight, 32, was found dead by police in Donnington Road, Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire on Friday afternoon.
Officers had been led to the property during initial inquiries into reports of a car crashing into a McDonald's restaurant.
Paul Knight, of Donnington Road in Burton Latimer, was remanded in custody at Northampton Magistrates' Court and is due to appear at Northampton Crown Court on 18 June.
A post-mortem examination found Ms Knight, known as Izzy, had died as a result of pressure being applied to her neck.
