School 'lockdown' after threats to pupil

A school was forced to go into a "lockdown" following threats made to a staff member and student.
Warblington School in Havant, Hampshire, said the security measures had been implemented as a "precaution" in response to a "threat in the local area" on Tuesday.
Officers from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary attended the incident following a call at 13:30 BST.
In a statement, the force said no-one had been injured and no arrests had been made.
No weapons were seen by officers patrolling the area, the force added.
Warblington School said in a statement: “The school reacted to a threat in the local area and put the school into lockdown as a precaution."
It added that all students were released as planned at 15:00 BST, with "no incidents reported".
