A 30-year-old man from Cheshire has died after his e-bike crashed into a bus.
Officers were called to Halton Lodge Avenue, in Runcorn at about 19:35 GMT on Monday after reports of the collision between a black Surron electric bike and the bus.
The rider of the bike was seriously injured and pronounced dead at the scene, Cheshire Police said.
The force has appealed for any witnesses to the crash or those who may have any relevant dashcam footage to get in touch.
"Our thoughts are with the rider's family at this time, who are currently being supported by specialist officers," said Sergeant Amy Hollis.
She said: "Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing, and as part of our investigation we're keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone with any dashcam footage.
"The same goes for any residents with any CCTV or doorbell footage which may aid the investigation."
