Driver arrested over fatal crash with pedestrian

A 35-year-old man has been arrested following an investigation into a fatal road crash in Hamilton last year.
The unnamed 35-year-old has been arrested in connection with road traffic offences.
The incident happened on Sunday 27 October 2024 on Quarry Street, Hamilton at about 00:40.
Emergency services attended and 70-year-old pedestrian James Craig was pronounced dead at the scene.
Inquiries continue and police request that anyone with information get in touch, external.
