TV chef Rosemary Shrager will guest edit BBC Radio Kent on Friday morning.

Shrager has featured in cookery shows and reality TV programmes for over 25 years including Ladette to Lady, The Real Marigold Hotel, Royal Upstairs Downstairs and I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.

The chef says she is passionate about inspiring people to make homemade meals.

In a recent interview, she told the BBC that the most important thing to do when cooking was to learn "five dishes that are so simple, that take you no time at all".

The 73-year-old is also expected to raise awareness about dementia and Alzheimer's disease during her show.

Shrager is planning to cycle from Land's End to Dover later this year to raise money for food banks along the route.

She plans to speak about her trip, organised by Hendy Foundation, as well as food poverty.
