Man arrested on suspicion of rape after search

Police have arrested a man following a search near a Monmouthshire village.

He is being held in custody on suspicion of false imprisonment and rape.

Armed officers are among those who had been searching near Tintern early on Monday.

Gwent Police said officers were still in the area as part of the investigation.
