Les Voies School has been rated good by Ofsted inspectors, according to Guernsey's Education Committee president.

A review in 2022 found the school, which caters for children with social, emotional and mental health, was graded inadequate in three out of four categories.

In an update on the work of her committee, Deputy Andrea Dudley-Owen said the school provided "good education, had good leadership and good student behaviour".

She said the dedication of school leaders should be applauded.

Les Voies School is the second institution in Guernsey to have improved its Ofsted rating in recent years.

St Sampson's High School was rated inadequate in 2022 but was graded good by inspectors earlier this year.
