Airport evacuated as plane struggles to land

An airport was evacuated while emergency services dealt with an incident involving a plane struggling to land.
Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called just before 12:00 GMT to Exeter International Airport after receiving reports a plane was "having challenges with its landing equipment".
A force spokesperson said the airport had been evacuated as a precaution and firefighters and paramedics were also called out.
A passenger using the airport told the BBC people were allowed to re-enter the terminal building at about 12:20.
