Man pleads guilty to murdering elderly woman

A man has pleaded guilty to murdering a woman in her 70s who was found with serious injuries two days before Christmas.
Police were called at about 07:30 GMT on 23 December 2023 to an address in Dickson Park in Wickham, Hampshire, following a reported assault.
June Henty was taken to hospital where she died six months later in June 2024 at the age of 78.
Adam David Wright, 38, of Grovers Field, Bishop's Waltham, is due to be sentenced at Portsmouth Crown Court on 2 May.
