City car park remedial work 'unlikely'

Remedial work to a multi-storey park, which had sections closed after an inspection, is "unlikely", Cornwall Council says.
A council spokesperson said work on Moorfield car park, Truro, would not be financially viable.
Earlier in May, sections of the car park off Calenick Street were closed, but the ground floor and outdoor sections remained in use.
The authority said: “As the structure has reached the end of its design life and design standards have changed since the car park was built, it is unlikely that remedial works to extend its life indefinitely would be possible and financially viable."
