Police are appealing for information after a 75-year-old cyclist was found injured in Dundee.

The man was discovered having fallen from his black bike on the A92 Broughty Ferry Road near the junction with Dalgleish Road at about 14:30 on Monday.

Emergency services were called and he was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.

Anyone with information about what happened is urged to contact police, external.

PC Liam Pattie said: "Members of the public stopped to assist and I would appeal to anyone who stopped and hasn't already spoken to us to get in touch."
