Arrests after man suffers serious injuries in stabbing

Three people have been arrested after a man sustained potentially life-changing injuries in a park stabbing.

The victim, who is in his 20s, said multiple men attacked him in Newtown Park, Bristol. The gang fled the scene on bikes at about 23:30 BST on Thursday.

The victim remains in hospital, and two 19-year-old men and a 16-year-old boy were arrested on Friday night. They are currently in police custody.

Officers from Avon and Somerset Police have urged anyone with relevant information to call them.
