Plans for a new museum to display unseen archive stock and artefacts at Jersey War Tunnels (JWT) are set to be submitted.

The attraction said the proposed site would house its current and future acquisitions, as well as expand its collection to include wartime off-island collectibles and artefacts from the wider World War Two conflicts.

JWT said it hoped it would "increase its appeal to both Jersey residents and the growing number of overseas visitors with the aim of restoring visitor numbers to pre-pandemic levels".

The site has been preparing planning documents to put forward the proposals.
