Motorcyclist dies in crash with horse box and car

A motorcyclist has died in a crash involving a horse box and a car in Kent.

Police said the red Yamaha Fazer motorbike was travelling towards Hythe in Stone Street, Canterbury, at about 16:00 BST on Monday, when it was involved in a crash with a blue Vauxhall Grandland Elite and a grey Isuzu horse box.

The motorcyclist, a 36-year-old man from Dymchurch, died at the scene and his next of kin have been informed.

An investigation into the crash in under way, which police said may also have involved a stationary grey Nissan Navara and trailer.

Anyone who witnessed the crash between Stelling and Farthing Common is urged to contact the force.
