Man arrested for murder after woman found dead

Police are seeking information after a man was arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a 35-year-old woman.
On Friday, a 31-year-old man from Sheffield was detained in custody after the woman was discovered dead at her home in Wincobank.
South Yorkshire Police attended her home on Walling Close on Wednesday following a welfare concern call.
Senior investigating officer, Det Ch Insp Mark Oughton, said: “We are in the early stages of this investigation and our team of detectives is working to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident."
“We are keen to hear from anyone with any information that could help our investigation.”
A crime scene remains in place.
