Two arrested for conspiracy to murder teenager

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder following the death of a teenager.

Norfolk Police said a man and woman in their 50s were taken to Wymondham police investigation centre for questioning on Wednesday.

On Saturday night, the body of a 19-year-old man from London was found inside a block of flats on Lefroy Road in the Mile Cross area of Norwich.

Police said a Home Office post-mortem examination, carried out on Monday, showed he died following a single stab wound to the chest, and his body was believed to have been there for eight days.

On Sunday, Norfolk Police said there was no risk to the wider public and the suspected murder was being treated as an isolated incident.
