A man has been arrested after a car was stolen by two masked men in Sheffield.
A driver had parked up on Harborough Avenue on Sunday at about 01:30 BST when he was approached by the two men, South Yorkshire Police said.
Officers said he was "scared for his safety" and gave the men the red Ford Fiesta and they fled the scene in the car.
It was sighted about 40 minutes later on City Road and when it failed to stop for police, officers pursued it. It was eventually stopped on Dovercourt Road and a 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery.
Sgt Adam Renshaw said the arrested man had since been released on bail.
He said: "We know that those involved in criminality are more likely to take greater risks on the road and have no regards for their own or others' safety.
"Intercepting those drivers is a crucial part of our proactive activity."
