Polling stations have closed in Cornwall for local elections.

All 87 seats on the countywide unitary authority are being contested.

Stations opened from 07:00 BST until 22:00 and people on the electoral roll needed to bring photo identification to cast their votes in person.

The results are due to be announced on Friday.
