Two people have been taken to hospital following a fire at a Nestle factory.

The factory, in Carlisle, was evacuated just before 07:10 BST after a blaze broke out on the fourth floor.

All those in the building at the time have been accounted for, but two employees sustained injuries and were taken to hospital, a spokesperson for Nestle said.

Cumbria Fire and Rescue said the fire has been extinguished, but described the incident as ongoing.
