A body has been found after a fire broke out in a caravan at a holiday park in Ayrshire.

The incident at the Viewfield Manor Holiday Park in Kilwinning was reported about 04:30, with the blaze later extinguished by the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service.

The body was then recovered by emergency services.

Police Scotland said enquiries into the blaze were ongoing.
