Shipping container fire sparks emergency response

Firefighters were called to two shipping containers on fire in East Sussex on Saturday.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to the blaze on a building site in Hailsham Road, Stone Cross, at 00:32 BST.

Four fire engines attended and crews left the scene just after 02:00, with the site handed over to a security team.

No injuries were reported, the fire service said.
