RHS Wisley warns show visitors about M25 roadworks

The organisers of one of the biggest flower shows in the country is urging visitors to plan ahead before heading to the site in Surrey.
This year's Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) event at Wisley coincides with major roadworks on the nearby M25/A3 junction.
The RHS and National Highways have been working to minimise disruption to the show which runs from 3-8 September.
A free shuttle bus will run from Woking station and Ripley post office, to encourage the use of public transport.
The roadworks are part of a £317m scheme to increase the number of lanes at the M25's junction with the A3, due for completion in the summer of 2025.
In March, the RHS said the roadworks had contributed to a decline in its visitor numbers.
Laura Booty, Head of RHS Garden Wisley, said: “We have been working with National Highways to help alleviate any disruption to journeys for those visiting the RHS Wisley Flower Show and measures have been put in place to minimise congestion.
"These include asking all visitors to book a free timeslot in advance, having traffic marshals in place to aid efficient parking, and giving visitors leaving the show prioritised access onto the A3.”
Over 40 specialist nurseries will be exhibiting at the flower show, with the National Dahlia Society putting on a special exhibition.
