Fire crews have continued to fight a warehouse blaze that broke out on a city industrial estate.
Essex Fire and Rescue Service was called to the Airborne estate in Southend-on-Sea just before 23:30 BST on Friday.
Crews from seven stations, including Basildon, Billericay and Leigh, were called at the height of the blaze and they remained at the scene into Sunday.
Nick Singleton, station manager at Colchester, said on Saturday that due to the "escalating fire and smoke" and the structure of the building they had to withdraw and fight it from the outside.
"That has unfortunately caused quite a lot of logistics with a fire of this scale to try and extinguish the fire," he said.

The blaze in Southend began on Friday night and continued to burn into the weekend
Overnight into Sunday, crews cut ventilation holes into the warehouse with smoke still coming from the scene.
They were expected to remain at the scene throughout the weekend, with an investigation then due to take place.
The fire service advised that people living close by and drivers on the A127 should keep their windows shut due to smoke.
