Pedestrian in hospital after being hit by vehicle

A man is in hospital after a crash in East Sussex where a car is reported to have hit a pedestrian, police say.
The incident happened at the roundabout connecting Lower Lake and Upper Lake in Battle at about 20:35 BST on Thursday.
A 34-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured and was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains, police added.
Sussex Police said the driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
