Some of Guernsey's government drop-in services will close later this month for two days, the States has announced.

The customer counters on level three of Edward T Wheadon House will close on 19 and 22 September for electrical upgrades.

They are mainly used to access the Revenue Service and by social housing tenants.

The States said all other services in the building would remain open.

A spokesperson said revenue customers could pay bills and update coding notices online or call 225700 for general enquiries.

Social housing tenants would be able to pay their rent online or at a post office, or call 226550 to pay over the phone; and could also email the tenancy team with general inquiries, they added.

Traffic and Highways customers could also email or call in, or can visit the Driver and Vehicle Licensing counter on level one, the spokesperson said.
